Original/Current Owner Notes:

This was our fifth motor home (second Foretravel) and we put much thought into what we wanted to have in the coach based on our experiences. The numerous custom items include:The fabrics used in the coach were selected and coordinated by a private interior design company and are of the highest quality. The leather on the chairs, sofa and dinette are a custom color. The desk chair was upholstered in the designer fabric and the valances over the kitchen window and the bathroom window were added to give a warm, rich look. The carpet color, texture and quality was selected with an eye on the problem of tracked in dirt, a serious issue in most motor homes. The wall lamp by the sofa is Waterford and the light fixture over the table is a custom "chandelier" that reflects soft light throughout the salon, yet does not create noise when traveling. A recessed reading light was added over the recliner. The cabinet over the kitchen sink was our design. It completes the look of the main salon and appears to have been an original design of Foretravel, not a custom addition. With the glass doors and interior lighting, it was our favorite addition and received favorable comments from all who saw it, including Foretravel factory people and Foretravel salesmen. The mirror behind the stove top and the mirrors that wrap around the desk were also custom additions. They give a feeling of roominess and reflect the beautiful outdoors. The tile floor in the kitchen is a custom addition. The pantry over the washer/dryer was reduced to provide a small hanging closet for outdoor wear. We changed the storage under the refrigerator/freezer to large drawers to accommodate a larger variety of items. A drop down extension was added to the end of the kitchen counter which makes a larger work surface when needed. The bathroom sports gold-toned fixtures, as does the kitchen. We added the mirror on the bathroom door and an additional station for the Bose sound system so one can listen to music or the television while in the bathroom. Additions to the roomy shower include a corner shelf for shaving legs and a larger shelf for shampoo, etc.In the bedroom, we had the typical Foretravel corner closets removed and replaced with wall-to-wall mirrors. The nightstands were raised to the level of the bed and we placed a crystal table lamp on each nightstand. The window treatment in the bedroom combines the Foretravel day/night shade with draw drapes with tiebacks. This offers versatility to accommodate any weather, allows the windows to be opened when one wants to take advantage of a cool breeze, yet affords one privacy, and room darkening when desired. Combined with the ceiling fan it is infrequent for one to need air conditioning in the bedroom. With the specially made bedspread and bedskirt the bedroom has a roomy, luxurious appearance found in more expensive coaches.

The exterior graphics of the coach was our design. There are extra drawers in the storage compartments. We installed a 100 pound freezer which was often filled with salmon, halibut and clams, the fruits of our labor.
